HOW TATTING
a double stitch.
Step 2:Leave a small space of thread.
Step 3:Make another double stitch.
Step 4:Push the second double stitch up snug against the first double stitch. The picot is the loop of thread that forms between the two stitches.
Step 5:Make picots in any size. To make a larger size, leave a larger space of thread between the two stitches.

Tatting is a lacemaking technique which involves making lark's head knots over a foundation thread. Series of knots are formed into lines called chains and circles called rings to create a delicate yet sturdy lace
